Lightwheel AI was founded in 2023 in Beijing's Haidian district, with co-founder and president Yang Haibo. It focuses on Physical AI data and evaluation infrastructure, combining generative AI with simulation technology to build a data system spanning training, evaluation and deployment feedback. Products include the SimFoundry simulation platform, EgoSuite human behavior data, RoboFinals industrial-grade evaluation and RoboStack deployment feedback. 2025 revenue grew 10x past RMB 100M; Q1 2026 new orders of RMB 550M set an industry record; over 80% of the simulation assets and synthetic data used by major international embodied intelligence teams come from Lightwheel. In March 2026 it closed RMB 1B across A++ and A+++ rounds to become the world's first embodied-data unicorn, then within two weeks added a round led by Ant Group and a RMB 1B strategic round, taking its valuation over RMB 15B; it leads or co-authors 20 national and industry standards.

Technical Approach

Scaled delivery capability across three dimensions: human behavior data, simulation synthetic data and industrial-grade simulation evaluation — the only company globally covering all three and delivering them at scale. Closed-loop logic: calibrate simulation with human data, amplify human data with simulation, and let evaluation and deployment feedback steer the next round of data generation. Premium scenario data has a resale rate over 10x — the same unit of data can serve multiple customers, model stages and task needs.
