About

HITBOT is headquartered in Shenzhen and is affiliated with Zhongke Huiling, which has roots in the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences; its core team comes from Harbin Institute of Technology and Tsinghua University. It started with direct-drive robotic arms and electric grippers, and fully self-develops micro electric actuators, drivers, and software algorithms. In May 2025 it released the eHand-6 industrial dexterous hand priced at RMB 2,999 (6 degrees of freedom, 10N grip force, 5kg payload, complex gestures in 1.1s), the first to bring industrial-grade dexterous hands into the thousand-RMB era; it followed with the 5-finger, 20-DoF eHand-16 (maximum grip force 52N, 0.9mm repeatability, self-locking mode sustaining a 15kg grip). Products cover industrial manufacturing, hazardous operations, research and education, aerospace and marine, emergency rescue, and other scenarios; the CASBOT Lingbao humanoid robot uses its dexterous hand solution. On August 5, 2026 it released the general embodied AI operating system HITBOT OS (with a companion low-code programming platform), transforming toward an embodied AI industry foundation and system solution provider. It completed a Series A+ round in March 2024 at an undisclosed valuation.

Technical Approach

A full-stack in-house route centered on dexterous hands and end effectors: micro electric actuators, drivers, and software algorithms are all self-developed; coreless motors, planetary gearboxes, and micro actuators are highly integrated into standardized core units, reshaping the price system through standardization, modularity, and affordability. It offers dual Python/ROS API interfaces, supports CAN FD/EtherCAT protocols, and extends into embodied AI system solutions with HITBOT OS.

Commercialization(6)

  • Complete product line from electric grippers to dexterous hands, continuously breaking cost barriers through technological innovation
  • Synergy of a fully in-house ecosystem (micro reducers, precision machining, and other supply-chain holdings), lowering adoption barriers for downstream applications
  • The eHand-6 marks a return to rational pricing for automation components through standardization, modularity, and affordability
  • The CASBOT Lingbao humanoid robot uses the HITBOT dexterous hand solution
  • Covers industrial manufacturing, hazardous operations, research and education, aerospace and marine, emergency rescue, and other scenarios
  • Positioned on its official site as an AI-driven embodied AI system solution provider and an important partner of leading ecosystems across industries worldwide

Position & Strengths(4)

  • Extreme value for money: the RMB 2,999 eHand-6 reshaped the value system of industrial dexterous hands, making HITBOT a byword for ultra-affordable dexterous hands
  • Full-stack in-house development: from micro electric actuators and drivers to software algorithms, with deep supply-chain positioning
  • Leading transformation: shifting from collaborative robots/robotic arms toward an embodied AI industry foundation, launching the HITBOT OS operating system in 2026
  • Research endorsement: deep involvement of the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, with a solid technical foundation
